FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION  ARE 5 1/2 INCH  ANTIQUE BERRY BOWLS FROM ROYAL WORCESTER IN THEIR   RARELY AVAILABLE  COBALT   #5786 VITREOUS**  SMOOTH EDGE PATTERN.   THE BACK STAMP  AND YEAR CYPHER  DATE MOST OF THEM TO 1909 (6 DOTS). 

THIS PATTERN WAS MANUFACTURED BY ROYAL WORCESTER UNDER SEVERAL DIFFERENT PATTERN NUMBERS; 3898, 5488, 5786.  THE GEORGE GRAINGER COMPANY, TAKEN OVER BY ROYAL WORCESTER IN 1889, ALSO PRODUCED THE PATTERN (#5786).  GRAINGER, UNDER ROYAL WORCESTER, OPERATED UNTIL 1902.

THE  BERRY BOWLS ARE IN FAIR CONDITION  CONSIDERING THEIR OVER  100 YEAR AGE!!  THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING; ALTHOUGH A NUMBER OF  SCRATCHES ON THE FACE. ALSO ALMOST TOTAL LOSS OF GILT AND STAINING ON A FEW.   NONETHELESS, THEY ARE MOST PRESENTABLE  !!
